September is slowly creeping closer and closer. While the release of latest Child’s Play sequel, Curse of Chucky, is about three months away, the official Chucky Facebook page is busy providing eager fans with new media. Two new production stills from Curse of Chucky have been released, but they don’t show any gore or bloodshed yet. A trailer should hit soon, and that should be well worth the wait! Ah, well… For now you can find the two new stills to the left.
Curse of Chucky is written and directed by Don Mancini, who’s written, produced, or directed every Child’s Play film to date. This go around the new installment will star Brad Dourif (the voice of Chucky), Danielle Bisutti, A Martinez, Fiona Dourif, Brennan Elliot, and Maitland McConnell.
“After the events of Child’s Play 3, Nica, a young woman forced to a wheelchair since birth, has to regroup her sister, Barb and her brother-in-law, Ian for a funeral after the death of her mother. While dealing with Barb, Ian, along with their 5-year-old daughter, Alice; Nica receives an odd package – a creepy doll. After people start showing up dead, the fearless Nica soon suspects that the creepy doll is much more than just a doll.”
Curse of Chucky is currently slated to hit theaters on September 24, 2013.
