1987 – Sara Canning, who plays “Jenna Somers” on “The Vampire Diaries.”

1961 – Jackie Earle Haley, who played “Rorschach” in “Watchmen” and “Freddy Krueger” in the 2010 remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”

1952 – Producer Joel Silver who’s credits include “Predator,” the “Tales From the Crypt” TV series “The Matrix” films, “Return To The House On Haunted Hill” and “Speed Racer.”

1939 – Sid Haig who has starred in such films as “Spider Baby”and “Galaxy of Terror,” appeared as “Drago” in the TV series “Jason of Star Command,” and was the standout performance in the film “House of 1000 Corpses” and it’s sequel “The Devil’s Rejects.” He also starred in Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” and “Night of the Living Dead 3D.”

1932 – Former NY Giant football player Roosevelt “Rosey” Grier, cousin of actress Pam Grier, who starred in the film “The Thing With Two Heads.” He also helped to capture Sirhan Sirhan who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. Grier shoved his thumb behind the trigger of Sirhan’s gun, stopping him from firing again.

1926 – Harry Dean Stanton who appeared in the films “Alien,” “Escape from New York,” “The Green Mile” and “Alien Autopsy.”

1924 – Val Avery who appeared in original “Amityville Horror” and “Too Scared To Scream.”

1914 – LA Newsman George Putnam who played himself in the films “Independence Day” and “Helter Skelter.”

1911 – Comic actor, the late Terry Thomas, who appeared in the films “Things To Come,” “Munster, Go Home” and “The Abominable Dr. Phibes.”

1910 – Director/Producer/Writer William Hanna of Hanna-Barbera Productions. He was the one who provided all of the yelps, yells and screams for Tom of “Tom & Jerry.”

1904 – The beautiful Zita Johann who starred as “Helen Grovesvenor/Princess Anckesen-Amon” in the 1932 version of “The Mummy” and appeared in the film “Raiders of the Living Dead.”

1901 – George Tobias who played Abner Kravitz on the “Bewitched” TV series and who also appeared in the 1939 version of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
