Wilson College Horror Film Festival

The festival will feature independent horror films and a horror convention with vendors — offering goods such as horror memorabilia, movies, makeup and costumes — and celebrity autograph-signings. Hours are: 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Joel Pagliaro, director of conferences and special events at Wilson, is currently looking for feature-length and short films made by independent filmmakers throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Films will be reviewed by a board of local community and horror film critics, and awards will be given for best feature film, best short film (under 45 minutes), best director, best special effects, best lead actor and best lead actress.

Tickets are on sale now.

–All-access passes are $10 each for Friday and Sunday, and $25 for Saturday.
–A weekend pass is $40.
–Children under age 12 may attend free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
–The event is free to current Wilson College students.
