When Reality Films sent me this new batch of films to review I was really damn excited.  They normally send me films about ghosts and aliens, however, this time I got two cryptozoological documentaries.  One of them, The Legend of Goatman, was one that was new to me.  I have never heard of this particular legend and I had to watch it first.

The second film was about sasquatch which is easily the most famous of all the cryptozoological myths and stories.  I saved this one to watch after LotG because I was sure this one would offer up nothing new.  So after I watched LotG I went ahead and threw it in to see what all this one was about.

**Spoiler Alert**This documentary follows a group of bigfoot hunters as they discuss the various ways they hunt for the mythical cryptid. The hunters tell the viewers about what got them into hunting, the equipment they use, and where they often hunt.  The purpose of the hunt is to provide hard evidence of bigfoot’s existence.

There is a group of hunters that believe a body is the only way to prove this while others believe that any sort of DNA sample with suffice.  Finally, the documentary ends with theories about bigfoot and how they have existed without ever being found.**Spoiler Alert**

This documentary started out telling me nothing that I didn’t already know.  Almost everything discussed the first half of the film was information that almost every documentary about bigfoot has mentioned it already.  When they are not providing general information about bigfoot then they are talking about their personal experiences while hunting.  That particular part of the documentary was very interesting but lost my attention rather quickly.

The film ended with a string of theories about bigfoot and most are so outlandish that I was actually laughing at them.  Some theorize that bigfoot is extraterrestrial or from another dimension while others believe he is “ultraterrestrial.”  Overall, this could have been an interesting documentary if they would have shown something original.  It may be slightly fun for one viewing but only if you really find interest in the subject matter.
