Horror Sales: Pacific Rim, VHS 2, and Sharknado

VHS-2-poster-1Box Office Numbers, DVD Sales, and Television Viewership for the week of July 12 to July 18, 2013.

Box Office: Pacific Rim has a weak opening week, but debuts in the top 3. VHS 2 premieres at the bottom of the chart, near the Maniac remake which saw a little boost in sales.

DVD Top 10: My good source didn’t update again, but IMDB was able to provide me with the top ten for this week, and here are the horror/scifi films that made the chart.

6 Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Television Viewership: Lot’s going on in TV land, so lemme start at the top and work my way to the bottom (that’s what she said). Nickelodeon debuted a new children’s movie The Haunted Hathaways which did very well on the network. Sharknado had a second airing one week to its premiere and had a 34% hike in views and almost topped 2mil. 666 Park Ave saw its series finale, as did Cult.
