1. How did you get into the industry?

My first acquaintance with the industry was when I attended one of my first film auditions. I was auditioning for a little film entitled “Ultra Violence”, which is how I met Michael O’Mahoney, Maniac Films founder. Unfortunately, the project fell through soon after. About a year later I got a call from O’Mahoney asking if I wanted to play a small role in Sloppy the Psychotic. I of course said sure, and I can now say I’m in a movie that is available for purchase on millions of TV and internet screens. That was the very first goal I set for myself after graduating from college in 2009, and it feels nice to say I’ve achieved it. I still have many years ahead of me of breaking down barriers; the industry is quite fickle. It reminds me of a somewhat unhealthy long-term relationship – it can hurt you relentlessly, but you just can’t back away because you love it so much. Then just when you’re about to say I’m done, it turns around a puts a hand on your shoulder.

2. What Scream Queen inspired you most?

I thought about this question for some time because there are a plethora of possibilities. If we are talking inspiration I have to look back to my childhood. Flipping through the pages of mental slides I realized that scream I will never forget – Ariana Richards in Jurassic Park. The image of her head titled to the side, screaming at the top of her lungs, while being hunted by dinosaurs, will forever be stamped in my memory.

3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?

I am currently in the process of filming my third project with Maniac Films. The working title for the project is Offline. The film will be more on the serious side than what we’re used to seeing from the Maniac Films crew, so I’m really excited to be a part of it.
