2003 – Comedian Bob Hope who starred in the 1939 version of “The Cat and the Canary” and in “The Ghost Breakers,” passed away at the age of 100. He made an unexpected, twist cameo at the end of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis film “Scared Stiff.” If you have never seen it, check it out. It’s worth it.

1984 – James Mason who appeared in the TV movies “Frankenstein: The True Story,” “Salem’s Lot” and the 1959 theatrical version of “Journey To the Center of the Earth,” passed away on at the age of 75.
