Filming is under way for a movie project which could result in the next film in the “Halloween” franchise, according to co-director Jeremy Hamm of Aberdeen, Ohio, who is coordinating the effort along with fellow director Lee Warner, of Maysville.
The film project is “a secondary project,” Hamm said, and is intended almost entirely for the consideration of executives at Dimension Films. Upon completion, the project, titled “Halloween: Bloodline,” will be submitted to the film company and considered for a big-budget production, Hamm said. “We wanted to do something more like the original ‘Halloween’ movie,” he said, describing their film as “more suspenseful … a little bit of gore
