“I was born with a progressive lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis. My whole life has been surrounded by hospitalizations, medications, doctors appointments, and breathing treatments. I was told from an early age that I wouldn’t live to see my teenage years. I began to realize at a young age that I was very different from others and that I needed to beat the odds and prove people wrong. I have went above and beyond what I thought I ever could and I love all of the accomplishments I have had in my life already. I started modeling locally in Cincinnati, Ohio about two years ago. My very first runway was in St. Louis for a Paul Mitchell hair/runway show. I then returned home to a couple more local runways and was eventually signed with a local agency, but after being told that I didn’t have the “Cincinnati look” I eventually dropped them and have been finding my own work since. I have had much success in Cincinnati and I couldn’t be happier! I have walked for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 13 runner-up and All-Star Cycle, Laura Kirkpatrick as well as Project Runway Season 10 designer, Alicia Hardesty in Derby City Fashion Week. I am also on the cover of six romance books. My first will be sold in Barnes and Noble on October 1st, 2013. I always had big dreams, but I didn’t know that in two short years that I could have accomplished any of this!”*

1. How did you get into the industry?

I have always had a passion for acting, but had little experience because I was always an extra in commercial’s and never had to memorize lines. My first short was actually filmed July 27, 2013 for Concept Media called Ladies Night. I’m excited for this new journey in the horror scene.

2. What Scream Queen inspired you most?

If I had to pick a favorite Scream Queen I’d have to say Jamie Lee Curtis. I’m a HUGE Halloween fan!! Horror is very exciting and different from what I’m used to, but I am the type who is always up for a dramatic change and challenge!

3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?

I have a couple projects to look forward to with Concept Media as well as some local runways. I will be at Horror Hound promoting Ladies Night and possibly doing some hosting gigs in the near future. Keep an eye out for me on romance book covers and I’m hoping things keep coming my way and I can inspire people to follow their dreams. People need to know that I not only do this because I love it, but to show that even though I have a Cystic Fibrosis that it will NEVER stop me from achieving my goals and dreams! I want people to know that regardless what you have or what you are going through, if you want something bad enough you can get though the dark times and find the light! Never let anything stop you! Keep fighting and never give up!
