“Missy was born on October 22nd in Charleston, West Virginia. Missy has appeared in several indie horror films such as: Zombie Babies (2010), Porkchop 2: Rise of the Rind (2011), Porkchop 3D (2012) and The Crawling Dead (post-production, 2013). With a film under her belt for every year she’s been acting, don’t expect her to stop anytime soon. In September 2013, Missy will be starring in the slasher film Pig Girl, as the twisted, female pig-masked killer. Missy plans to continue acting and collaborating on film projects, especially those related to horror.”*

1. How did you get into the industry?

I went out for an audition for Eamon Hardiman’s “Zombie Babies” and actually got the part! After that I was hooked and became the assistant director on Porkchop II: Rise of the Rind as well as the producer of Porkchop 3D and The Crawling Dead! Horror has always been my first love and I can’t believe the opportunities I’ve had acting as well as working behind-the-scenes!

2. What Scream Queen inspired you most?

Without a doubt, Barbara Crampton. I think she’s always portrayed an intelligence in her characters that’s solely lacking in most horror films. Plus she’s amazing and my GOD, she had a severed head eat her out in Re-Animator! My dream would be to work with her some day! She’s the real deal!

3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?

We’ve got several coming up, but the biggest is the release (VERY SOON!) of The Crawling Dead and I’m about to return to the grease with PIG GIRL, where I’ll once again be portraying the titular character and killing lots of young girls while they show their TITULARS! I love being the bad girl and this one lets me go hog wild! A very vicious entry in the Porkchop saga. We also just wrapped a short film that got accepted into Ron Howard’s Project Imaginat10n contest and I played the lead in that. I love making horror and sci-fi and hope to do much more very soon!
