2006 – Ed Warren, famous demonologist who along with his wife Lorraine, investigated hundreds of paranormal incidents including The Amityville home in Long Island, New York.  The hit film The Conjuring is based upon one of their investigations, and were portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.

2005 – Brock Peters, who appeared in “Soylent Green,” “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home,” “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” and “Alligator II: The Mutation,” passed away at the age of 78.

2002 – Dennis Fimple, who played “Grampa Hugo” in “House of 1000 Corpses,” passed away at the age of 43. He also appeared in the 1976 version of “King Kong” and “Creature From Black Lake.” He is best known for his role as “Elwood” on the TV show “Petticoat Junction.”

1966 – Francis X. Bushman, who appeared in the films “12 To the Moon,” “Phantom Planet” and “Ghost In the Invisible Bikini,” passed away at the age of 83.
