When done right, there’s nothing better than a great horror comedy, especially in the zombie category. There’s a new zombie comedy from the UK entitled Stalled that luckily has been picked up for U.S. distribution by Uncork’d Entertainment for an October theatrical release. Deadline is reporting, The horror comedy Stalled premiered last month at the UK’s Film4/FrightFest, and Uncork’d Entertainment has just acquired North American theatrical, VOD, digital and home entertainment rights. The pic written by and starring Dan Palmer and directed by Christian James will have its U.S. debut October 3 at the new Alamo Drafthouse outside Dallas, and roll out to more theaters in October. Stalled centers on an unlucky maintenance man who finds himself stuck in the ladies restroom during a zombie apocalypse. Antonia Bernath, Mark Holden and Giles Alderson co-star.
