2365FILMS llc is entering a National short-film HORROR competition. The actual film MUST BE SHOT ON SEPTEMBER 18th or we lose the location for the nest 2 months! We are shooting in the Historic CARRIE FURNACE abandoned steel mill located in Rankin, PA, which is located right behind the WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT about 10 minutes from Kennywood Park.
MADNESS: This short story revolves around Lisa, a 25 year woman, forgotten by society, awakening to find herself restrained in a straight jacket, left alone inside a rusted out, decaying insane asylum with only her blood and bruises left to help her to understand what is happening, not only to her circumstances, but within her mind. And those voices she hears, they’re NOT in her head!
Alone and terrified, Lisa must confront the horrific tormented images that invade her every thought. to survive.
We are making a (3-minute) Horror Contest submission, along with a (10 minute) short film / Director’s cut / Behind-the-Scenes video. Rain or shine, we’re shooting!
This film will be shot on GoPro HERO 3 cameras (as this promo was) with a minimal crew in just one day. We need your help, we have very little time to raise additional funds to complete this shoot. Help us bring back HORROR to Pittsburgh, PA!

I want projects to be (generated) here in Pittsburgh from START TO FINISH. Now, that’s very, very important to be and a huge reason as to WHY I am doing this. FOR YEARS, “Hollywood” has past through our city, used our locations, employed some people and LEFT. I want creative film work to emanate FROM HERE, be PRODUCED HERE, and ENCOURAGED HERE. Then, and ONLY then, EXPORT that creativity around the globe. Locally, that makes a BIG difference.
