Universal’s Upcoming ‘Dracula’ Pic Gets A New Name…Again!

Universal Studios 100th anniversary logoWe’ve been reporting on the upcoming Drac film from Universal Pictures for quite a while now and we’ve seen it go through a couple of name changes during that time and now it’s happened yet again.  The film has been previously known as Dracula: Year Zero, then just Dracula and now it has been altered to Dracula Untold.  I really hope this is the last one because I’m a little tired about reporting name changes.

The previously set release date of October 3rd, 2014 still remains the same.

The film is to be directed by Gary Shore and is set to star Luke Evans as the King of the Vampires.  Evans will star along with Samantha Barks, Dominic Cooper, Sarah Gadon, Charlie Cox, Zach McGowan, Art Parkinson and Ronan Vibert.

Dracula Untold tells the story of vampire mythology combined with the true history of Prince Vlad tell the origin of Dracula.

More news on the film as it comes in!
