2010 – Simon MacCorkindale, appeared in “Beasts (TV Series)”, “Hammer House of Horror (TV Series)”, “Jaws 3-D”, “Manimal (TV Series)”, “Poltergeist: The Legacy (TV Series)”, and “Night Wolf”.

1986 – Comedic/character actor Keenan Wynn, passed away at the age of 70. He appeared in the films “The Clonus Horror,” 1979’s “The Dark,” the original “Piranha,” “The Devil’s Rain” and the “Demon in Lace” and “Spanish Moss Murders” episodes of the TV series “Kolchak: The Night Stalker.”

1983 – Ardel Wray, writer of such films as “I Walked with a Zombie”, “The Leopard Man”, and “Isle of the Dead”.

1983 – Character actor Paul Fix, passed away at the age of 82. Besides appearing in the film “Night of the Lepus,” he also acted in dozens of TV shows, including episodes of the original “Twilight Zone,” the original “Star Trek,” “The Time Tunnel” and “Land of the Giants.”

1949 – Fritz Leiber, who appeared in the films “Cobra Woman,” the 1943 version of “The Phantom of the Opera” and the 1939 version of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” passed away at the age of 67.
