But, whaddaya know, he WON BIG! “Legend of the HILLBILLY BUTCHER” got 6 awards at Pollygrind Film Festival.
First up, it won fer “Best Retrosploitation Film”, then Rae Lynn, err i mean Theresa Holly won fer “Best Actress”, and Ole Papa Jessup, Ron Jason that is, won fer “Best Cameo”. If dat ain’t enough fer ya, it won fer “Most Outrageous Film”. Carl’s quite proud a dat, i know, i know…most times he’s like most folk in da holler, mindin’ his own business, but ya git ’em goin’ an’ Carl Henry can be one crazy sumbitch, an’ he ain’t ashamed a that neither! Now, this next award kinda got Carl a little riled up…the “Hixploitation Award”?. Carl Henry Jessup has never been, nor will he ever be, a hick. He’s the “HILLBILLY BUTCHER”! That’s ALL he is, an’ that’s ALL he ever will be…
