2009 – Edward Woodward, best known for playing “The Equalizer” on TV, passed away at the age of 69. He starred in the original version of “The Wicker Man.”

2002 – Alfred Lewis Levitt who wrote for various TV shows such as “Bewitched,” “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir” and the screenplay for the film “The Boy With Green Hair,” passed away at the age of 86.

1992 – Todd Armstrong who played “Jason” in “Jason and the Argonauts,” passed away at the age of 55.

1981 – William Holden, who starred in the films “Damien: Omen II” and “When Time Ran Out,” passed away at the age of 63.

1978 – Claude Dauphin, who appeared in the films “Phantom of the Rue Morgue,” “Barbarella,” and “The Tenant,” passed away at the age of 75.
