2008 – Musician Page Cavanaugh passed away at the age of 86. His group “The Page Cavanaugh Trio” performed in the film “Frankenstein’s Daughter.”

2007 – Frank Capra Jr. who produced the films “Escape” “Conquest” and “Battle For the Planet of the Apes,” passed away at the age of 73. His other films include “Firestarter” and “Marooned.”

2005 – Yu Fujiki who starred in the films “Kong Kong vs Godzilla,” “War of the Gargantuas,” “Godzilla vs The Thing” (a.k.a. Mothra) and “Yog, Monster From Space,” passed away at the age of 73.

2003 – Les Tremayne whose numerous films included “Attack Of The B-Movie Monster,” “The Monster of Piedras Blancas,” “War Of The Worlds,” and “The Monolith Monsters,” passed away at the age of 90. He also appeared as “Mentor” in the “Shazam” TV series and was the narrator of the American version of “King Kong vs. Godzilla.”

2003 – Hope Lange, best known for playing “Mrs. Muir” on the 1968 TV series “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir,” passed away at the age of 72. She also appeared in the films “Fer-De-Lance” and “Nightmare On Elm Street 2.”

2002 – Lee Halpern, who in the 70’s did animation for such series’ as “The Fantastic Four,” “She-Ra: Princess of Power,” “He-Man and the Master’s of the Universe” and “Star Trek,” passed away at the age of 86.

1999 – Desmond Llewelyn, best known for playing “Q” in the James Bond series, passed away at the age of 85. He also appeared in “Curse of the Werewolf” and “Corridors of Blood.”

1978 – Duncan Lamont, who appeared in many British TV shows, passed away at the age of 60. He guest starred in episodes of the original “Doctor Who,” “The Avengers” and “Danger Man” known in the states as “Secret Agent” starring Patrick McGoohan. His films included “Evil of Frankenstein,” “Quatermas and the Pit,” “The Creeping Flesh” and “Frankenstein Created Woman.” Unfortunately he passed away while he was filming an episode of Terry Nation’s sci-fi series, “Blake’s Seven.”

1977 – Jacques Torneur, who directed the films “Curse of the Demon,” “Cat People” and “I Walked With a Zombie,” passed away at the age of 73
