HOLLYWOOD HORRORFEST 2014 – everything you’ve always wanted to know about indie horror/fantasy filmmaking and so much more. So don’t be affraid to ask.

It’s only December and already we have some exciting guests confirmed from MAD MAX 2,SHUTTER ISLAND and INSIDIOUS. We’re also announcing one of two annual HHF HONORARY AWARDS. And we have to add that the films in competition just keep on coming – the standard is amazing!

To celebrate the enduring appeal of MAD MAXwe’ll be honoring the post apocalyptic film series with out first annual IMPACT AWARD. The IMPACT AWARD each year “Honors and celebrates game-changing films or film series that have culturally impacted society through the horror/fantasy genres.” As part of this celebration we are happy to welcome MAD MAX 2 (and COMMANDO) star VERNON WELLS to the festival.

Also appearing will be fellow panelists, stuntman/actorGUY GRUNDY (Shutter Island, Sharkproof) andINSIDIOUS’ scary “Old Woman”, actor PHILIP FRIEDMAN. More guests to be added shortly.
