2009 – Patrick McGoohan passed away at the age of 80. Besides his stint as “Number 6” on the British made series “The Prisoner, he starred in the films “Scanners,” “The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh” and “The Phantom.”

2009 – Evelyne Kraft, who appeared in the films “The Mighty Peking Man” and “Lady Dracula,” passed away at the age of 57.

2001 – Amando de Ossorio, writer/director of such films as “The Blind Dead 3,” “Malenka” “Tombs of the Blind Dead” and “Return of the Blind Dead,” passed away at the age of 82.

1989 – Joe Spinell, who played the title role in the film “Maniac” and also appeared in “The Last Horror Film” and “Starcrash,” passed away at the age of 52.
