1974 – Kevin Durand who played “The Blob” in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” He also appeared in “The Butterfly Effect” and “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.”

1968 – Rapper L.L. Cool J, who has appeared in the films “Deep Blue Sea,” “Halloween H2O,” the 2002 remake of “Rollerball” and “Mindhunters.”

1949 – Writer Lawrence Kasdan, whose films include “The Empire Strikes Back,” “Return of the Jedi,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Dreamcatcher.”

1948 – Carl Weathers, who appeared in the films “Predator,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and the TV movie “Alien Siege.”
