XLrator Media will be releasing the gothic chiller, Holy Ghost People by The Butcher Brothers (The Hamiltons, The Thompsons) on VOD on February 18, 2014 and in theaters on February 21. We have more information on the film down below.
Holy Ghost People is directed by Mitchell Altieri, one-half of The Butcher Brothers. The film is written by Mitchell Altieri, Phil Flores, Kevin Artigue, Joe Egender. It stars Emma Greenwell, Brendan McCarthy, Joe Egender, Cameron Richardson (CBS’ “Harper’s Island,”Alvin and the Chipmunks).
Plot Synopsis
HOLY GHOST PEOPLE is a Southern Gothic thriller about a teenager searching for her lost sister in the Appalachian Mountains, where she encounters a snake-handling religious cult and eventually learns the truth about her sister’s fate.
