2012 – Ian Abercrombie, he appeared in numerous films and TV shows including “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, “Young Frankenstein”, “Blood Beach”, “Catacombs”, “Warlock”, “Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge”, “Army of Darkness” and many more.  He passed away at the age of 77.

2000 – Sci-fi author, A.E. van Vogt, passed away at the age of 87. His novels included “Slan,” “The Changeling” and “The World of Null-A.”

1992 – José Ferrer who has appeared in the films “The Sentinel,” “Dracula’s Dog” and “The Swarm,” passed away at the age of 83.

1973 – Edward G. Robinson, who appeared in “Soylent Green,” passed away at the age of 79. He originally tested for the part of “Dr. Zauis” in “Planet of the Apes.”.
