1999 – Huntz Hall, who played “Sach” of the Bowery Boys, and crossed paths with Bela Lugosi on two occasions in “Spooks Run Wild” and “Ghosts on the Loose,” passed away at the age of 79.

1998 – Ferdy Mayne, who starred in the films “The Fearless Vampire Killers,” “The Vampire Lovers” and “Frightmare,” passed away at the age of 81.

1994 – Pierre Boulle, author of the novel “Planet of the Apes,” passed away at the age of 81.

1973 – Jack MacGowran, who appeared in the films “The Brain” (1964) and “The Fearless Vampire Killers,” passed away at the age of 54. He portrayed “Burke Dennings” who had his head turned around by Linda Blair in “The Exorcist,”

1969 – Jack Dietz who produced the films “The Corpse Vanishes,” “The Black Scorpion” and “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms,” passed away at the age of 67.
