Why choose The Tour? Why this movie? It’s a perfectly reasonable question, and here’s what director Damon Rickard has to say about that: “It is being made by people who are passionate not only about the genre but also about the short film format. The Tour is a 10-15 minute short film which will be shot in the most haunted house in England – The Darkmoor Manor. In the film, a tour guide gives two American tourists an up close and personal view of the house…and they discover some secrets are left buried. Cast members include scream queen Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare, Silent Night) and Heather Dorff (What They Say).
As with all Indiegogo campaigns, The Tour is currently seeking extra funding that will go towards special effects, equipment, locations, postproduction, and distribution. It is trying to reach a goal of 5,000 GBP with the campaign ending on March 16, 2014.
