1975 – Drew Barrymore, granddaughter of John Barrymore, who starred in the films “E.T.,” “Altered States” and “Firestarter.” She was offered the lead in “Scream,” but opted to play “Casey” because she thought the role was more interesting.

1969 – Thomas Jane, who starred in “The Mist,” “Dreamcatcher,” “Deep Blue Sea,” and as “The Punisher” (2004).

1968 – Jeri Ryan, who played “Seven of Nine” in the TV series “Star Trek: Voyager” and starred in the film “Dracula 2000.”

1959 – Kyle MacLachlan, who starred in the TV series “Twin Peaks” and the film “The Hidden.”

1950 – Julie Walters, who plays “Molly Weasley” in the “Harry Potter” films.

1944 – Jonathan Demme, who directed the multi Academy Award winning “The Silence of the Lambs.”

1936 – Karin Dor, who appeared in the films “The Torture Chamber of Dr. Sadism,” “Assignment Terror” and “The Face of Fu Manchu.”

1899 – The one and only Dwight Frye, who played “Renfield” in “Dracula,” “Fritz” in “Frankenstein” and “Karl” in “Bride of Frankenstein,” as well as many other character film roles.
