It has been a great February for Sweet Home Films. First they won two awards for their film “Smasheroo” (including Best Film) which was a part of “50 Kisses”. A theatrically released anthology feature film in London and then going on to win Best Production Design for their comedy spoof “Pheelaweena” at this year’s TOSCARS at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood (sponsored by Jaguar).
The company’s in-house director, Evan Marlowe states; ‘It has been an exciting year so far. We need to make more room on the mantelpiece.’
Next up is the DVD release of their zombie/afflicted movie BLOOD RUSH released through Maxim Media on March 4th, starring Kerry Finlayson, Helen Soraya, Christy Lee Hughes and Don Donnelley. (The award winning soundtrack is released the same day through MovieScore Media)
On the slate at Sweet Home Films is the Horror film “TRUST”, starring Daz Crawford (Blade II), Treva Etienne (Pirates of The Caribbean), Craig Robert Young (Slaughter) and Kerry Finlayson (Blood Rush). The film promises to offer the audience a lot of blood, gore, excitement and a question of who to ‘trust’. (Production planned for early 2015)
Additionally the team are developing a supernatural thriller and have a film coming out later this year in the anthology series “World of Death”.
