2005 – Bill Cameron, who co-starred in “Blue Sunshine,” passed away at the age of 62.

2001 – Lillain McBride, who appeared in the films “Blood Orgy Of The She Devils” and “Revenge Of The Cheerleaders,” passed away at the age of 81.

2000 – Richard Collier, who appeared in the films “Pet Semetary,” “Eve of Destruction” and “Christine,” passed away at the age of 80.

1969 – Author John Wyndham, who penned the novels “The Midwich Cuckoos” which was adapted for the screen as “Village of the Damned” and the novel “Day of the Triffids,” which became a movie of the same name, passed away at the age of 65.

1931 – F.W. (Friedrich Wilhelm) Murnau, who directed “Der Januskopf” (“Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”), the 1922 version of “Nosferatu,” and the 1926 version of “Faust,” passed away at the age of 42.
