When I was in middle school I started to dive deeper and deeper into horror. It was this time that my musical tastes started to form. I deeply submerged myself into rock and metal. Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, King Diamond, Type-O-Negative, Metallica, Slayer and so many others were on continuous rotation in my CD player. It was around this time that a friend introduced me to the musical stylings of The Msfits. He let me hear the songs Green Hell and Last Caress. I really enjoyed them and from that point on I was a fiend.
Since then I have followed the careers of so many horror punk bands. Today, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (ex-Misfits) shared a video on his Facebook page from the band Cancerslug. This is a band I was unfamiliar with so I checked it out.
Cancerslug is a band based out of Huntsville Al. and describe themselves as death sleaze. The band is currently doing a small tour and the tour dates are posted below:
