2005 – Robert Slatzer, who wrote and directed the film “Bigfoot,” passed away at the age of 77.

1999 – Gil Perkin, who appeared in the films “Teenage Monster,” “Valley of the Dragons” and the 1966 movie “Batman,” passed away at the age of 91.

1987 – “Doctor Who # 2,” Patrick Troughton, passed away at the age of 67. His numerous film appearances include the 1962 Hammer version of “The Phantom of the Opera,” “The Gorgon,” “Scars of Dracula,” “Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell” and “The Omen.”

1976 – Richard Arlen, who starred in the films “The Island of Lost Souls,” “The Lady and the Monster,” “The Crawling Hand” and “The Human Duplicators,” passed away at the age of 77.
