1933 – Frank Gorshin who played “The Riddler” on TV’s “Batman” series, as well as appearing in genre films like “Invasion of the Saucermen” and “The Creature Of The Sunny Side Up Trailer Park.”

1926 – Director Roger Corman. He has too many film credits to list here, but I would highly recommend reading his book “How I Made a Hundred Movies in Hollywood and Never Lost a Dime.”

1917 – Author Robert Bloch, who penned the novel “Psycho,” and wrote the screenplays for the films “The Cabinet of Calagari,” “Strait-Jacket,” “The Skull,” plus countless TV shows such as “Star Trek” and “Boris Karloff’s Thriller.”

1916 – Gregory Peck who starred in “Cape Fear,” “The Boys From Brazil” and “The Omen.”

1908 – Kurt Neumann, who directed “The Fly,” “Kronos” and “Rocketship X-M.”

1908 – Actress Bette Davis, whose genre films included “Whatever Happened To Baby Jane,” “The Nanny,” and “Burnt Offerings.”

1901 – Melvyn Douglas who appeared in “Ghost Story” and “The Changeling.”
