Hutson is an avid lover of horror and has written numerous documentaries on several classic horror tales. In fact, many of his documentaries are among some of the top viewed in the genre. The docs he has written are His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, Scream: The Inside Story, More Brains! A Return to the Living Dead, and many more. However, this documentary writer is more known for one documentary in particular and that is Never Sleep Again: The Elm St. Legacy.
Never Sleep Again hit the horror scene with a bang where it quickly became a hit. Fans of slashers, horror docs, and ANoES praised the film for all the hard work and effectiveness of the film.
