TEXAS METAL FESTIVAL (Fundraising)

Rock Fiesta, Inc. a new Texas corporation producing outdoor music festivals, announced today the launch of an aggressive crowd funding campaign on the indiegogo platform.

After a year of due diligence on another intended Texas event, Rock Fiesta, a Mexican- American weekend Rock Festival, Erick Shute, internationally touring metal front man has joined up with Festival Producer Hal Davidson to produce the Texas Metal Festival (TMF), slated for Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, 2015 on a 500 acre farm site located 25 miles North of McAllen, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, Hidalgo County in a rural area called McCook..

Both festivals are scheduled for Spring, 2015, but the crowd funding concept surfaced when both producers figured the worldwide army of metalheads would gladly unite, especially if an advance ticket was discounted 1/3 OFF. So for just $100 (no sales tax or service fees), funders can obtain perks now, incl. a weekend pass worth $150 (+tx/ fees) once tickets go on sale late summer. Special VIP passes are also offered on the site at a discount for contributing by July 1, 2014.

The indiegogo festival site proclaims “For the first time in America, a major metal music festival is supported by the global metal music community. 1 double stage, 2 days, 24 hrs. of metal, 500 acres!”. Davidson and Shute, most concerned for a high quality music experience will invest in state-of-the art sound, stage lighting, special effects and sound and LED relay towers.

Though Europe stages 70 major metal festivals a year, only a handful of major metal events are produced in the U.S., and none are held in an outdoor open-land festival site.

Shute’s social network is piled high for a high octane broadcast targeting metalheads all over the planet. Metalheads are loyal, tight knit and are easily identified. They don’t listen to your local rock station. Metal music is on the web and so are their forums, blogs and websites.

Additionally, Shute’s connections in the metal world will create the best metal lineup ever seen in America. TMF is a European style inspired festival hosting some of the best bands from all over the metal spectrum, the greatest diversity ever combined in America. Ticket buyers will experience everything from Death Metal to Black Metal, Nu Metal to Thrash Metal, to Math Core, and more. 12 hours a day for 2 days is a lot of metal.

Head banging and wind milling fans will get more pure metal for their money than at any other festival in its genre in the USA in 2015. Learn more at: www.indiegogo.com/texasmetalfestival

Shute and Davidson are grateful for the support and look forward to years of epic metal festivals! The campaign started May 1, 2014 and will last 60 days.
