1978 – Amy Wheaton, who appeared in the film “The Curse” (1987) and the TV series’ “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Sliders.”

1970 – Samantha Mathis, who appeared in the 2004 version of the TV movie “Salem’s Lot,” “American Psycho” and the 1994 version of “The Punisher.”

1962 – Emilio Estevez, who starred in “Nightmares,” “Freejack” (sounds like my kind of movie) and “Maximum Overdrive.”

1962 – Ving Rhames who co-starred in “The People Under the Stairs,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” the 2004 remake of “Dawn of the Dead” and the 2008 remake of “Day of the Dead”

1961 – Lar Park-Lincoln, best known for starring in “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.” She also appeared in “House II: The Second Story”, “Freddy’s Nightmares (TV Series)”, “From the Dark.”

1950 – Gabriel Byrne who has starred in the films “End of Days,” “Stigmata,” “Ghost Ship” and “Gothic.”

1930 – Jesus (or Jess) Franco who directed the films “The Awful Dr. Orloff,” “Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula” and “Ilsa, the Wicked Warden.”

1913 – Hugh Latimer who appeared in the films “The Strange World of Planet X,” (a.k.a. “The Cosmic Monsters”) and “Ghost Ship” (1952).

1912 – Don Blackman who appeared in the film “Scream Blacula, Scream.”

1903 – Wilfrid Hyde-White who appeared in the TV series’ “Buck Rogers” and “Battlestar Galatica,” as well as the film “Chamber of Horrors.”

1898 – Edward Halperin who produced the films “White Zombie” and “Revolt of the Zombies” (both of which his brother Victor directed)

1892 – John Barclay who appeared in the 1941 version of “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” “Soylent Green” and “The Brotherhood of Satan.”
