2009 – Joan Alexander, who was known as the voice of “Lois Lane” on radio and in various cartoons from 1941 to 1960, passed away at the age of 94.

2007 – Italian director Bruno Mattei, passed away at the age of 76. His work includes the films “Cannibal Holocaust,” “Hell of the Living Dead” and “Zombies: The Beginning.”

2005 – Voice over artist Howard Morris passed away at the age of 85. He did a lot of work for Hanna-Barbera, as well as many other companies over the span of his career. You name it, and his voice was probably in it.

2000 – Sir John Gielgud who appeared in such TV movies as “Frankenstein: The True Story,” “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” passed away at the age of 96.

1987 – Alejandro Rey, best known for playing “Carlos Ramirez” on the TV series “The Flying Nun,” passed away at the age of 57.” He appeared in the films “The Swarm” and “TerrorVision.”
