Part Cyborg. Party Bigfoot. Part Stop Motion. ‘MEGAFOOT’ Gets A Stop Motion Fan Film!

Megafoot teaser posterI learned how to make stop motion films while I was in film school, so I give Vincent Cretara a lot of credit for creating this! Must have taken days.

Megafoot is an upcoming feature film based on the original story by Justin Martell, which is written and will be directed by Rolfe Kanefsky.

An Indiegogo campaign concluded in April which helped to raise 56% of the films budget – a major testament to the fans who want to see this film get made. An even bigger testament is the stop motion film that Vincent Cretara created as a fan film in promotion of this title. The video has been making the rounds on the internet, and John Brennan was kind enough to send me the video, which I have provided for you after the plot summary below.

“A highly classified experiment accidentally unleashes a top secret killing machine known as MEGAFOOT. Part Cyborg, Part Bigfoot. All Terror. And now it’s up to an elite squad of soldiers to track down the beast and kill it before it destroys everyone and everything in its path. A married couple, a group of college students, the scientists who know the truth, and some not-too friendly locals are about to confront their worst nightmare in this action-packed, horror thriller, gore-ride that’s bigger than big – It’s MEGAFOOT. ”
