Speaking with Matt Steel directly, he is quoted as saying, “Jersey Pines is a labor of love for me, and it will get made. However, the extra funding would be very helpful in extending the production and adding to some scenes to enhance the overall vision of the film.”

Jersey Pines is the story of 4 friends who are heading down to Atlantic City for a weekend of gambling, drinking, and clubbing. Along the way, their car runs out of gas. The 4 friends split up in search of some gas. Along the way they will encounter the endless Pine Barrens woods, the hot New Jersey sun, blood sucking insects, and some of a craziest Pine Barrens residents you can imagine.
