2004 – Robert Lees, who wrote the screenplays for “Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man,” “Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein” and “The Black Cat” (1941), passed away at the age of 91.

1979 – Darla Hood who played “Darla” in the “Little Rascals” comedies and appeared in the film “The Bat” with Vincent Price, passed away at the age of 47.

1979 – Barry Shear who directed several TV series including “Night Gallery” and “The Sixth Sense,” passed away at the age of 56.
