International Actor DJ Perry With Myra MacKay Management

International actor/filmmaker DJ Perry (Wicked Spring, Dean Teaster’s Ghost Town, Book of Ruth, Journey of Faith) has recently signed with Myra MacKay Management to oversee his transition into studio feature film and network TV roles. In the independent film world DJ has played the hero, the villain and multiple memorable supporting roles moving effortlessly between very diverse roles in all genres.

Myra has a lifetime of associations within the film business including 30 years with entertainment professionals such as Lang Elliott founder of TriStar Pictures and currently President & CEO of Sunn Classic Pictures. She is also an associate, consultant to film financier Allen J. Schwalb of Star Partners, Inc.  She is a committed marketing professional who will apply her experience in helping her clients reach a new level of success. To do this she is also working with Jerry Cohn, former manager to the stars.

DJ Perry resides in Michigan where his Collective Development Inc. (www.cdiproductions.com) is located. Most recently his company supervised the productions on the acclaimed “Ashes of Eden” crime drama and the adaptation of Christopher Wright’s book “Bestseller” to the big screen.

This management run will be for front of the camera work although DJ Perry has a strong script/literary background. Currently, his Christmas story “Holly, Jingles and Clyde” is under option by a Florida based studio and he just completed a work-for-hire assignment to adapt a popular children’s book series into feature film scripts. The first one is complete and will shoot in 2015.
