Horror Novel Review for ‘Crossing Lines’

crossing-lines-book-copy‘Crossing Lines’ is another novel I can highly recommend by Nick Kisella. It was much shorter than the other two novels I read by him but it wasn’t short on action or character development. I like the way he writes people. It was very fast paced, and I ended up reading it in one sitting because it was a page-turner. It’s listed as a prequel, but it read like a stand-alone story.

The main character is a kid, a teenager, and I only recognized one other character in it from ‘The Beasts and the Walking Dead’. I thought the main character and the way he dealt with his survival situation was really great, which leads me to believe that if a zombie apocalypse ever happened I’d be looking for kids to stay with while the dead roamed around. I liked the ending even though it pissed me off. I won’t give it away, just see for yourself.

This is listed as the second prequel to ‘The Beasts and the Walking Dead’, with another short book, ‘Under Construction’ listed as the first.

That’s next on my reading list.
