Adjust Your Tracking (DVD Review)

Last year I was able to review the VHS oriented documentary Adjust Your Tracking: The Untold Story of the VHS Collector (read my review here).  This documentary was definitely one of the highlights of last year and a damn fine documentary.  After I was able to review the film I wanted to immediately grab a copy and throw it into my collection but I had to wait.  A few weeks back I received news that Horrorboobs and Lunchmeat will be releasing the amazing VHShitfest flick.

I started writing reviews because I wanted to share my thoughts on certain films but over the last few years I have crossed paths with films that I wanted to just keep writing about.  Adjust Your Tracking is one of those films.  With the release of the DVD I had to check it out and share my thoughts on that as well.

The DVD comes in a 2 disc collector’s edition with over 7 hours of special features, three shorts, and audio commentaries featuring the producers and director, behind the scenes featurettes, interviews, and deleted scenes.  The special features, interviews, and deleted scenes only extend the film’s experience and take you even further into the VHS world.  This project is purely a work of passion and every aspect of this release shows that.

The DVD artwork is also pretty fucking amazing and looks great turned sideways in a collection among other classics or on display showing off the front cover.  That, my friend, is the point of this documentary and that is to show off what ya got!

Adjust Your Tracking: The Untold Story of the VHS Collector is a documentary that is really impressive and shows just how much you can accomplish if you work hard and have a passion for something.  I highly recommend this release for your collection so pick one up here.
