Lloyd Kaufman is a man that everyone in the indie horror scene loves and adores. This man could film a turd melting in the rain and people would buy it. Hell, I would buy it! No one man show, outside of horror, has garnered a gathering of retro gamers and foul-mouthed Youtubers like James Rolfe’s alter-ego, The Angry Video Game Nerd. So it was just a matter of time before these two beautiful human beings met and forged a friendship.
Not long ago Lloyd guest starred on an episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd in which the Nerd and Lloyd took a look at The Toxic Crusaders video game. This was from the two meeting at a convention and a friendship was formed. Today I received word that the two will once again teem up in San Diego at Comic Con. Check out the press release below:

The San Diego Comic Con is a world wide phenomenon. Cosplayers, Artists, Comic Book & Toy Collectors, and Celebrities from all corners of Pop Culture make their yearly pilgrimages from across the globe to come together in one place for four days dedicated to their favorite fads, fashions, and entertainment.
It’s also one of the most exciting times of the year for Troma fans as you never never know what is going to be going on at Troma Booth or who is going to stop by. WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, The Office’s Jenna Fischer, and the Soska Sisters are just some of the stars who have come by Troma’s San Diego Comic Con headquarters to participate in the Trom-activity! One of San Diego Comic Con’s highlights is always the Troma Panel. Always filled with Tro-Mazing guest panelists, this year being Troma’s 40th Anniversary will be no different. Troma Entertainment is proud to announce that joining Troma President and Legendary Director Lloyd Kaufman this year Saturday Night July 26th at 9pm in Room 9 on the Troma-dais will be:

And also reuniting with Lloyd on the panel will be Actor, Comedian, Host of his own web television show, and Filmmaker – “The Angry Video Game Nerd himself, James Rolfe. Every time these two get together it is viral and comedic gold, we’re sure this panel will be no different!
Those of you lucky enough to make it to Comic Con this year will definately be in for a treat and to be honest I am extremely jealous. If you can make it be sure to because this will be one hell of an event.
