Titan Comics throws the spotlight on its brand-new line of Doctor Who comics – Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor and Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, alongside a full range of signings, an epic Doctor Who Comics panel, not to mention a wide array of comics and graphic novel debuts!
At the show there will be exclusive cover variants of the new Doctor Who comics available at Titan Comics (booth #5537), the BBC Shop (booth #4129) and Diamond (booth #2401). Then, as part of the Doctor Who Comics Day celebrations on Saturday July 26, a special Doctor Who comics panel is planned with Tenth Doctor series writer Nick Abadzis and artist Elena Casagrande, cover artist Alice X. Zhang and Doctor Who comics editor Andrew James who’ll reveal exclusive secrets from the upcoming Tenth and Eleventh Doctor storylines and showcase never-before-seen art! Plus, Doctor Who fans will get their first look at interior art from the upcoming Twelfth Doctor on-going series and get to watch an exclusive video surprise! This year’s SDCC also sees Titan Comics debuting a number of deluxe collections of the very best action/adventure from around the world including the epic saga, Elric Vol. 1 The Ruby Throne – a lavishly illustrated, new comic adaptation of the classic novels by Michael Moorcock. This dark fantasy has been produced with the full and enthusiastic endorsement of Moorcock himself, who has written an original introduction for this edition.
