2003 – Comedian Bob Hope who starred in the 1939 version of “The Cat and the Canary” and in “The Ghost Breakers,” passed away at the age of 100.

1984 – James Mason who appeared in the TV movies “Frankenstein: The True Story,” “Salem’s Lot” and the 1959 theatrical version of “Journey To the Center of the Earth,” passed away on at the age of 75.
