Fans at Gamescom 2014 this week were in for a huge surprise. The gamers were treated to a playable teaser in promotion of a video game due out soon. Only after they finished the game was it revealed that the bata was a new Silent Hill video game, tentatively titled Silent Hills.

Silent Hills will be the first Silent Hill video game that’s been released since 2012’s Silent Hill: Book of Memories. But, the excitement doesn’t stop there! Horror fans will be delighted to know that the central character in Silent Hills is modeled after and voiced by “Walking Dead” stud and Boondock Saints badass, Norman Reedus! Something tells me a lot more women will be buying this game than usual!

Silent Hills is being developed by Kojima and Fox Engine. Guillermo del Toro, most noticeable as the man behind MaMa and Pacific Rim, is on board as creative director. The game is due out in late 2015 or early 2016 on PlayStation 4.

The demo is currently available for download through the latest PlayStation console, so make sure you get it before it’s gone!
