vaugier_emmanuelleEmmanuelle Vaugier is one of the most well established actresses you probably haven’t heard of yet. Not only has she been in the industry for almost twenty years, but she’s appeared in handfuls of horror and science fiction titles. Television fans won’t recognize her straight-to-DVD horror roles, and horror fans won’t recognize all of her mainstream television roles. So, let me take this Where Are They Now to familiarize you with this stunning actress before I share with you all of her current career highlights. Emmanuelle Vaugier was born in June of 1976. Her unstoppable sex appeal would lead her forward into a noteworthy career in Hollywood and into becoming a sex symbol in horror films; and it’s worth mentioning that Maxim Magazine ranked her #31 on their Hot 100 list in 2006.

Emmanuelle’s television career kicked into overdrive after a recurring role on “Madison” in 1996. Her next roles on the small screen consisted of guest appearances on “Police Academy: The Series” and “Beaker High” in 1997, “The Outer Limits” in 1998, “Higher Ground” in 2000, “Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction” and “Charmed” in 2002, “North Shore” and “Veronica Mars”in 2004, “Andromeda” in 2005, “Monk” and “Masters of Horror” in 2006, and “Supernatural” in 2007. During this time she also held recurring roles on “Smallville” from 2002-2003, “One Tree Hill” 2004-2005, and “CSI: NY” from 2006-2009.

I know you’re probably wondering what her horror film roles are at this point, and there’s a lot of them! In chronological order – and all lead roles, by the way – Hysteria (1997), The Fear: Resurrection (1999), The Sculptress (2000), Mindstorm, Ripper, and Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell in 2001, Cerberus, House of the Dead II, and Saw II in 2005, Saw IV and Unearthed in 2007, and Far Cry (2008). Outside of horror, Ms. Vaugier also appeared in comedies 40 Days and 40 Nights, Blonde and Blonder, and Bachelor Part II: The Last Temptation.

So, where is Emmanuelle Vaugier now?

Her television and film career is still going strong in the new decade.

Her television roles include guest spots on “Hawaii 5-0” in 2010, “R.L. Stein’s Haunting Hour” in 2011, and “The Mentalist” in 2013. Same as before, she has also held recurring roles on “Two and A Half Men” from 2005-2011 and “Lost Girl” from 2010-2014. As far as films go, she lead the following movies: Mirrors II and Hysteria in 2010, and Killer Mountain (2011). She has another comedy, Teen Lust, due out in early 2015.
