After the successful world premiere of Jersey Shore Massacre on Tuesday, the horror-comedy from director Paul Tarnopol and executive producer Jenni “Jwoww” Farley is officially beginning its limited theatrical run.
You can read my 8/10 review for the movie here. It had a couple moments that genuinely made me chuckle and it follows the traditional slasher flick format that horror fans will love! It’s got a lot of boobs (big boobs, if I need to be specific), lots of gore and blood splattering, and a fantastic cast highlighted against beautiful scenery. I know a lot of other sites are roasting the Hell out of this movie, but they’re missing the point – Jersey Shore Massacre isn’t meant to be taken seriously like other horror films. It’s a horror-comedy, people, it’s supposed to be a little silly!
