KEY CAST AND SHOOTING DATES CONFIRMED FOR ‘SOCIOPATHIA’
‘MANIAC’ MEETS ‘AMERICAN MARY’
IN A VISCERAL NEW HORROR FILM FROM NAPALM LOVE PRODUCTIONS
From the twisted minds of Ruby LaRocca (Flesh for the Beast, Call Girl of Cthulhu, Slaughter Daughter) and Rich Mallery (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, Darling Nikki) comes an unrelenting new film that is prepared to both unnerve and terrify audiences. With shooting confirmed to begin this coming September, SOCIOPATHIA, the anticipated feature directed by both LaRocca and Mallery, tells the gripping and macabre story of Mara, an artistic and sweet girl-next-door, who hides a vicious and chilling secret.
Introverted and peculiar, Mara (Tammy Jean) spends her days fabricating props for movies. But her reclusive persona conceals an internal wrath. Terrified of being alone, Mara refuses to let her lovers leave, sadistically murdering them and keeping their corpses as living dolls. When she’s hired by Kat (Asta Paredes), a fledgling producer, the two instantly hit it off. As their relationship grows more intense, Mara begins to lose her already fragile grip on reality. When her “dolls” begin demanding all of her attention, and Kat threatens to break her heart, Mara spirals into psychosis, leaving her no choice but to kill again.
Written and directed by both Ruby LaRocca and Rich Mallery, SOCIOPATHIA stars Tammy Jean (Apocalypse Kiss, Die, Hipster Die!) and Asta Paredes (Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol 1&2). Also confirmed to star in this tension-filled, gritty feature are Nicola Fiore (Slaughter Daughter, She Wolf Rising), Nicolette le Faye (President’s Day, Witch’s Brew, Call Girl of Cthulhu), Tabetha Ray (The Cemetery, Auror’s Tale), Desiree Saetia (Zombie Babies, Demon of Castlebury), Shelby Vogel from Toe Tag Inc. (The Redsin Tower, August Underground’s Penance), cult actor George Stover (Female Trouble, Desperate Living) and up and coming actress Brandy Noir.
SOCIOPATHIA also boasts among its crew veteran cinematographer Jared Noe of Suited Four Inc. (House of Good and Evil, Year Zero), as well as Aftermath FX artists Jason Koch (7th Day,V/H/S/2, Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol 1) and Kaleigh Brown (7th Day, Call Girl of Cthulhu, Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol 1).
