Winter Park, FL based label Famined Records has entered into an exclusive, worldwide distribution agreement with Victory Records.

Famined Records was founded in late 2010 and quickly signed and released its first album: We Are The Illusion’s The Podium of Lies back in 2010. After a couple of years the label had a full roster and new releases that turned heads, such as Dresden’s I Hope You Hear Me (2012) and The Afterimage’s Formless (2012). Famined then recruited Arbiter and Neberu, releasing their titles in 2013. With new ownership in 2014 the label is back in full force with new releases in November and December.

Regarding the partnership, owner Chelsea Coronin had this to say, “I am extremely glad that Victory saw potential in us and shares our view. We’re here to bring to light to the front of the scene acts that might get overlooked yet have the talent we’re looking for. The world is full of these kinds of bands and our goal is to find them, help them and make sure that the rest of the world will know about them. We work our hardest to make sure our bands know we believe in them and have their best in mind. Famined Records is here to make some noise in the music industry and with Victory’s support I am sure we will achieve it.”

Tony Brummel, Founder of Victory Records said, “I believe that Chelsea has a strong ear and will be responsible for some artists that will do very well in the not so distant future. There are not many independent labels run by young females. She will bring fresh and interesting perspectives to the independent music community and our relationship. Famined Records is destined to do great things in the same vein that labels likes Rise, Standby and Sumerian did when they got started by working with Victory. We welcome Famined to our growing stable of distributed labels.”

The forthcoming releases from Famined Records will be Stargazer’s single, “Bold And Brash”, that will be available for download 11/11, Actions to Onslaught’s Ethereal full length, available 11/25 and All The Shelters’ full length, Chasing Light on 12/9.
