1969 – Megan Ward who starred in “Trancers II,” “Trancers III” and “Amityville 1992: It’s About Time.”

1958 – Kevin Sorbo who played “Hercules” on TV and “Kull the Conqueror.” He also starred in the Gene Roddenberry series “Andromeda” and the “Sci-Fi” original film “Never Cry Werewolf.”

1936 – Muppets creator, the late Jim Henson. His creations were featured in many TV programs and films, most notably, “Labyrinth.”

1923 – Gordon Urquhart, who wrote the screenplay for the film “The Brain Eaters.”

1923 – Louis Edmonds who played “Roger Collins” on the original “Dark Shadows” soap opera.

1922 – Producer/director/special effects man Bert I. Gordon. His film credits include “The Amazing Colossal Man,” “Attack of the Puppet People” and “Earth vs. the Spider.”

1917 – Mexican horror legend Abel Salazar, who starred in the films “The Brainiac,” “The Vampire” and “The Vampire’s Coffin.”

1906 – Victor Wong who played “Charlie the Cook” in “King Kong” and “Son of Kong.”
